교회 근처 호텔에 머물고 있는 50여 명의 난민들을 초청해 블레싱스토어에서 겨울 코트와 옷, 신발, 스카프, 그리고 생활용품 등을 골라가시게 하고 따뜻한 점심 한끼 대접했습니다.
김정호 목사님 “이분들에게 노동허가증이 배부되고, 신분이 해결되어 좋은 직장 구하기”를 기도했습니다. 또한 ‘여기 있는 어린이들과 이분들의 자녀들이 미국 사회의 주역으로 자라기’를 바라며 축복했습니다.
대강절, 소망, 사랑, 기쁨, 평화의 주님이 이분들과 함께 하기 기도드립니다.
Around 50 refugees staying at a hotel near the church were invited to the Blessing Store (thrift store) to pick out winter coats, clothes, shoes, scarves, and other daily necessities, and were treated to a warm lunch.
Rev. Chongho Kim prayed, “We hope you get a work permit, resolve your immigration status, and get a good job.’
We pray that the Lord of hope, love, joy, and peace will be with them.
